Inspired by the regional culture and intangible heritage of the nine provinces along the Yellow River, the “Yellow River Kid” character series features 10 designs: the colorful Tu ethnic style of Qinghai, the face-changing panda of Sichuan, the Flying Apsaras of Dunhuang in Gansu, the festive attire of the Hui people in Ningxia, the Mongolian wrestling of Inner Mongolia, the Lord Guan tradition of Shanxi, the Ansai waist drum of Shaanxi, the Shaolin kung fu of Henan, the Confucian heritage of Shandong, and the Yangshao culture — the earliest civilization along the Yellow River. Inspired by the painted dragon plate unearthed at the Taosi site in Linfen, this design becomes a wearable “emblem fridge magnet” that blends display with decoration. Each “Yellow River Kid” embodies the unique traditions of its region and tells the story of China’s ancient civilization through its own pose and character.
